Thai people and eggs

Does it matter?

After sitting in the back of a pick up all day in the heat,  they don't have a long shelf life left in them

Give them a break, they are still trying to work out which came first, the chicken or the egg!

from what ive seen in the frerifgator.

As far as what I've seen for five years, they are left out. I've always refrigerated mine, and do now. The FDA requires eggs to be stored below 7C . I think as long as they are fully cooked, you won't get salmonella. In the US, they wash and sanitize the eggs. In the UK, they vaccinate the chickens against salmonella. To each his own.

You have to refrigerate eggs in the USA because the eggs are washed which removes a protective layer of the egg that keeps bacteria out.

In Europe, the protective layer is left on, so refrigeration is not needed. In Thailand the eggs are not washed (illegal in the UK), so, they don't need to go in the fridge.

Some do put them in fridge, then some don't ,I hope that answers that

question for you and you can sleep tonight not worrying about it????

You must be buying too many eggs at one time.

I buy six which lasts three to four days, then buy more.

Two weeks in the fridge? No thanks!!

We buy 30, and they last a week. I just stated that they do last longer refrigerated, if you aren't using them quickly.

But if you do and some don't. or you don't and some do, do you do, or don't you do in the future? I will be having sleepless nights working that out ????

Do Thais generally refrigerate their eggs or leave them out at room temp?

Depends if there's room in the fridge for bottles of Chang and the eggs

Think about it, a chook will lay an egg a day for say 2 weeks before deciding to sit on them.

They are out in the tropical heat all that time but they are still fresh enough to hatch into baby chicks.

If they can make a baby chook they surely must be fine to eat.

Madam puts them in the fridge!

Some Thais will, some Thai's won't

Some Thais stick 'em in the fridge and some Thais don't

I've got this salmonella but I don't know why

Some eggs they boil and some they fry

So here I am in front of you
Not really knowing what to do
My heart is feeling something new
Nervously I turn away from you
I see the looks you're sending me
Is this the way it's meant to be?
It's something we should talk about
Just put them in or leave them out?
