I have 3 computers .. 2 desktops and 1 laptops ..

i want to know how to synch everything that is in "My documents" between the 3 computers with windows XP..

The username on 3 comps are password protected and folder set to private ..

help please

If they are on a network together you can drag and drop

from one disc to another across the network.

Another way is to get a flash drive [4Gig = 1400thb]

and copy to it and then bring to the other computers.

You might look at XP's built-in synchronization app and see if it is sufficient > SynMgr

A commercial program > Synchromagic

Check the SyncToy available as a download from MS website.

I use the free version of Syncback (here) for this. Set it up on the laptop and sync to one desktop, then the other.

Share out an external usb, and make the default location for each system mydocs to the same mydocs location on the shared drive. Easiest solution IMHO!

The synctoy mentioned above is a microsoft powertoy and is exactly for this purpose..
