Indoor sports areas for skating?

Featured Replies

Inline roller skatking, not ice. I have seen small zones for kids at harbor Mall and tesco on Pattaya Nua. I'm curious if we have a full size indoor area. I've tried the blue flat area next to Bali Hai but it's no fun learning out in the sun, too much heat and sweat when you're at low speed and keep falling during basic practice.

I do remember a large indoor stadium building near that park on the East side. Is it available for use by random people? Anyone know what the entry fee is?

Yeah, I would like to know that too. In my case, it is skateboarding. The best place so far I could find is at Maprachan lake reservoir park. There is a really nice smooth surface with the roof in there.

A little more direction would be helpful.

From the searching I've done, there's not a lot available. The TukCom Centers in Sri Racha and Chon Buri have small little "rinks" like Harborland. Other than that, it's probably all outside on artificial soccer pitches/tennis courts.

If anyone knows the details about this place please share. I'm not even sure a foreigner can get in.

Lol - I know where it is know ! That is the same place we have the annual Burapa Bike Week event every February ! On Soi Chaiyapruek 2 near the Huai Chak Nok reservoir.

Unfortunately, I can't find any info online about who runs it or any kind of schedule.

Might be quicker to take a trip by there one day and see if there's an office or some signage somewhere. However, from what little I could find, it seems it's mainly used as a venue for competitions (volleyball, weightlifting, etc).
Not sure if they'd have any "public access" at any other time.
