Sanook reported on the case of a 34 year old woman from Mukhdahan who had dental treatment in the south of Thailand in 2015.

During a procedure the head of a drill became embedded in her gum.

The dentist could not get it out but she was told not to worry - it would come out of its own accord.

Kritika thought that it had but it remained embedded in her gums and caused problems to occur.

She had suffered cases of local paralysis and problems with her taste buds.

She had the item removed during 30 minute surgery in Khon Kaen after she went in for root canal treatment in June last year.

Now more than 5 years after the original problem in Narathiwas she is planning on appealing to the Thai health ministry for justice.

She has received no compensation for the trouble that she has experienced, reported the media.

If she tries to sue, will the errant dentist counter-sue for outstanding rental of his missing drill bit?

The dentist should be liable for mal practice...yet her gullibility stupidity whatever you want to call it plays into her predicament...

to come out on its own and she believed it? She should not have gone more than a few days to have the necessary removal procedure

as to her problems which She brought on by not immediately Resolving, would be hard to prove correlation and additional legal costs to her...

Good luck with that.
