. Sweden is the only country so far with the intelligence to ignore all the hype and spin. Every country should follow suit.

Out of the 45 European Countries, Sweden has the 6 th worst death rates

  • Thank you to the SCB Intelligence unt for this enlightenong piece of information. I'd never have known that tourism hadn't recovered without this press release.

This Think Tank must know something the rest of the World don't.

While sarcasm and humour warm my soul they could be on to something here!  I wouldn't be surprised if the announcement tomorrow reads "An increase of 100% in the number of Thai tourists is expected soon."

Most Thai's i know, Middle Class and Working Class, say they are still too worried to travel yet and anyway have been most places worth going before if they can afford to travel, no point in keep going back just to help this useless Government out.

What they actually said was

EIC stated that tourism-related data showed that domestic tourism was improving, especially in provinces near Bangkok

The headline is spin by MCOT. Having an account with SCB I was a bit shocked so went and checked it out. Thai "media" manipulation.

Someone pays these people? Someone publishes this <deleted>? Good grief, words fail me.

The Thai tourism is recovering but has not been restored to its normal level yet, according to the Economic Intelligence Center of Siam Commercial Bank which urges for more stimulus measures

Any just how would it be possible the tourism is existent at all unless you want to consider locals as tourists?
