Apologies if this has been asked before..........

My wife and I want to go to India for a 1 month holiday.

I hold a British passport and my wife holds a Thai passport.

Can we both get a visa on arrival or do we need to apply for a visa at the Indian embassy in Bangkok?

make sure you apply in plenty of time.

While Thai citizens can get their visa's turned around in one day, unless you are basically permanently resident in Thailand, the visa can take up to 5 days to be issued to non-Thai's.
