Sanook said that Thai social media was abuzz after a Facebook post showed a Lamborghini Aventador that had collided with a humble Yamaha M Slaz motorcycle.

Netizens were wondering what the compensation payments may be like due to the disparity in cost between the two vehicles!

A first post from "Tavon Singto" said that the police had been called after the motorcyclist hurt his left leg.

A subsequent post said that damage and medical bills had all been settled amicably.

Apparently there was a Chinese person behind the wheel and a compatriot in the car.

Wang Thong Lan police arrived at the scene at the end of Soi Pracha Uthit to help sort it out.

A Google search reveals that an Aventador might set you back 48.98 million baht while an M Slaz comes in at just 89,500 baht, notes Thaivisa.

Was correct when I said it was probably a Chinese driver who got a special vip discount ! Don’t think even the hiso Thais would be mad enough to pay that price for a car !

Were they just on the way to the government house for handing over this little gift?

looks like dangerous driving by the car driver who turned across traffic without bothering to check and the motorcyclist ran into the side. probably the wealthy car driver who has offered compensation to the motorcyclist. I hope the police investigate properly and charge the offending party and don't just leave it as settled.
