Manager reported that the Mu Ko Similan National Park will be opening to tourists again on Thursday October 15th.

They promised that visitors would find the marine area more beautiful than ever after nature has recovered there for months during the closure for the duration of the pandemic.

Deputy governor Bunterm Renumas was in the area inspecting the "New Normal" regulations - there will be QR Codes and screening for visitors whose numbers will be subject to a quota limit each day.

Manager said that visitors will find the area amazing. In the past it was always full of foreigners but now it is deserted.

They commented on a video from back in April that showed dolphins coming in due to the lack of tourists intimating that such an experience may await visitors come October 15th.

Should the remaining foreigners in Thailand expect to pay 10 times more than a Thai visitor?  In which case, they can pack sand.

This Chinese province has 13 million inhabitants and according to this article no cases of the Chinese Virus. How the hell will they know and control this ? China has zero transparency.

I support an opening but not for the virus breeders.
