Lottery millionaire seeks out the vendor who sold him the lucky tickets

Sanook reported on a Facebook post after a Toyota car salesman called Phaisan won 48 million on the state lottery on September 16th.

 

Phaisan - now known by the term "Sia Boy" - got lucky with eight tickets #244083.

 

But it took him two weeks until he found the woman who persuaded him to buy the lucky tickets. 

 

A Facebook post on the page of Anek Ritkamlang showed the lucky winner handing money over to the vendor. 

 

She wished him luck and they had a chat. 

 

How much he gave her on Friday was not reported.

Enough to make her smile... at least he said thanks.

I thought she got money from the lottery also as a seller as the tickets are registered to her or have her seller code on them and when there is a winner the lottery pays the seller a bonus amount .

i remember when I won 50 million and gave it all away the SECOND they gave me the money.

Sorry,  but you intentionally neglect to mention in what currency you won 50 million.   Was it Vietnam Dong? 

 

I'm positive it was not GBP or USD.   Please tell us more.

 

Money doesn't necessarily  bring about happiness but what it does do is eliminate the   worry many have about not having enough money.   That's pretty sure excluding those who attempt to  make even  more money and take unnecessary risks to gain more.

 

I'd like to offer to be the vendor who sold the winning lottery ticket.
