A 60 year old man shot a 35 year old who he gave money to buy lottery tickets.

When the numbers came up the younger man claimed he didn't buy those tickets.

The older man got a gun and shot him.

Police were called to a house in Soi Phuttasee in Muang Samut Prakarn last night around 8 pm.

Samrit, 35, from Sisaket was lying in a pool of blood with wounds to both legs and his hip.

After treatment at the scene he was taken to Muang Samut Pak Nam Hospital.

The shooter was named as "Noi", 61, a man who works in an ice factory 100 meters away.

A next door salon owner called Sujiporn told the media that Noi had given Samrit money to buy lottery tickets.

When the numbers came up he arrived to claim his winnings.

But Samrit denied buying those numbers and this resulted in an ongoing feud.

Last night the older man arrived on his motorcycle drunk to once again demand his money. Again it was not forthcoming but this time the older man left and returned ten minutes later with a gun.

The witness claimed that he shot just once.

Police are hunting for Noi who fled the scene on his motorcycle.

If you give someone money to buy lottery tickets, would you not expect them to be given to you asap, definitely BEFORE the draw was done. And to go to claim from the guy on 6th when draw was on 1st. Sounds a bit dodgy to me. Then I read a bit further...he was p..sed!

He was 60 to start with but maybe had a birthday cos he is 61 a bit further down. And injuries to both legs and a hip WITH ONE SHOT.   Hmmmmm

Drunk 61 year old Thai guy with a gun.... a bad start

As Stouricks says, if you pay someone to buy you lottery tickets, you make damn sure you get those tickets before the draw.

And if this Noi fella is capable of driving drunk and armed, why did he need to send someone to buy tickets? Moron!

Wondering if this was not the Village lottery where you give someone your numbers and they write down said numbers, most times you get your list of numbers picked and the amount you paid.  Maybe I am wrong here.

Prayuth may return your 4000B by making you a beneficiary in his will?

Unfortunately it may only be 3k after his commission.
