With Trump's health in question, Pence-Harris VP debate to draw outsized attention

Well I just hope that these 2 vices can actually debate and say some

intelligent things.  God forbid that any thing more happens to the 2 dinosaurs that

are running for the President position.

  • Pence will sail through doing that head-shaking routine he did in 2016.  If the microphones are positioned well you could hear it rattle. And if you have hi-def you'll see God looking over his sh

  • Yup. All Kamala Harris has to repeat is that he, Mike Pence, was supposed to be the Covid czar and how he failed so miserably as to let his fearful leader get the 'Rona.

Advance  results of the vp debate:

45 supporters: Pence won! Biden and his supporters suck.

Biden supporters: Kamala won! 45 and his supporters suck.

There, didn't I just save us all a BUNCH of time and bandwidth?

Agreed.  I'll watch the beginning of the debate.  If it degenerates into the mess of last Tuesday's debate, I'll switch off.

Just finished watching the debate. Pence like Trump had trouble following the rules and kept waffling on regardless of the mediator telling him his time was up. Two people who cannot follow simple rules again want to run the country and stuff it up even more than they have in the last 4 years. Pence lost the debate by not focusing on the current question being asked and kept going back to extend his reply on previous questions.

Harris was positive and focused and always answered the question without wandering back to try and fix up poor previous answers. An intellectual (Harris) verses a kindergarten graduate who learnt his debating skills from Trump.

Her support for the "protests"(we all know what they really are) in democrat states in the last 4 month is unforgiveable to any law and order minded people. I also never forget when the preposterous Jussie Smollett "welcome to MAGA country" hoax news broke how she blindly jumped on it and called it a "modern day lynching". Divisive and dumb. It's up there with someone telling her the moon is made of cheese and she asks, is it Jarlsberg?

Anyway, at the top tier of government people need to have street smarts. Trump has it in spades. Neither Harris or Biden have ever been accused of having any. Looking forward to seeing Pence school her in this debate.

You couldn't be more wrong Harris won it easy

Of course she did, there’s no flies on Harris.

Neither really won, neither landed a punch like the historic "You, sir, are no Jack Kennedy!"

Bottom line, Pence needed to pull the 45 campaign out of the toilet, and he just didn't deliver.

I'm voting for the fly.

I thought Kamala did well - she gave thoughtful answers most of the time and came across as an acceptable possible president. Women sometimes have it tough if they come across as aggressive but I think she came across positive and smart and she was mainly respectful when she listened. She has a lovely smile.

Pence did OK but I don't think he did much to appeal to swinging voters.

Be nice if they could answer about packing the Supreme court - just say we have no plans at this time.

Well, he certainly managed to pull the fly out of the toilet.

Great choice! The fly's election would indeed be an admirable government downsize. Its taxes would be minuscule, for starters and they don't require much "pork" either. Do they make masks that small because viral transmission might be problematic.

But they do have a plan...it is just that they don't want to disclose it before the election...

Bernie Goldberg who was with CBS wrote the book BIAS on how the media uses subliminal bias such as calling Democrat politicians the "esteemed" while announcing Republicans as the "ultra right wing"  This headline is an example.  You have Trump 73  who by all accounts is very healthy has been described as with more energy than people half his age.  By Contrast you have Biden older at age 78 and clearly shows signs of early dementia.  But the headline focuses on Trumps health.  Heck if elected Biden's agenda is to stay alive

Why do you think the headline focuses on Trump's health?

Trump by all accounts is very healthy?

I think I know what you mean, it's like whenever DT says Biden's name he prefaces it with words like communist, socialist, and radical left.  It's actually funny, as Biden is about as Republican as HW Bush was 30 years ago.

Kind of like that wonderful health care plan Trump has kept hidden since 2016.

Oh yeah, the 2 Week Plan, it'll be announced in 2 weeks.  That one is a few years old.

And next week is Infrastructure Week.

If you think this message makes no sense, yes.

One more time:

The New England Journal of Medicine on Wednesday, in an unprecedented editorial, denounced the [45] administration’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic and called for voting out “current political leaders” who are “dangerously incompetent.”

The harshly worded editorial is the first time the prestigious medical journal, which usually stays out of politics, has weighed in on an election.
