Surely Johnson read it properly before he first presented it to Parliament; before he called an election because Parliament wouldn't agree to it; before he signed it with such fanfare and before he used his majority to rush it through Parliament  in double quick time?

A major part of our democracy is freedom of speech. We are allowed to criticise our government, we are allowed to campaign for change.

 

It may be too late to change the disaster of 2016. Even were we to have another referendum and re-joining won, the EU wont let us back in with the advantageous terms we enjoyed previously. But we can still try and persuade the government to get the best possible deal for the UK and criticise the mistakes they're currently making; let alone all the lies they've told on the journey to this point.

 

Of course, if you find this continued debate boring and repetitious you are free to discontinue taking part.

We will be trading with the US under WTO rules which is not tariff free.

Also, at the risk of repeating myself, it was the US which imposed a 25% import tariff on Scotch whisky which will remain in place until Biden removes it. The first of January makes no change to that.

We are free to do our own deals yes but it was the US which imposed the tariff on Scotch whisky. That tariff will remain in place until the US lifts it.

The government have finally admitted that any deal is better than the "Australia" deal. The spokesperson may well be looking up the nearest Jobcentre on Monday.

Here's an idea Victor, if you can't post without showing your intense dislike of the English, maybe you should not be posting.

It was an United Kingdom referendum which all four nations are part of, Wales equally voted to leave the EU, but hey, it's only the English that gets the full might of your words. You are obviously extremely dissappointed at the democratic result or else you would not be insulting us ad infinitum. I'm sure in time you will get over the result and might find it in your heart to forgive the UK for not voting as you would have liked us to have done, but hey, c'est la vie.

The world just changed.  Now Johnson must get an EU deal since he won't get a deal from Biden without one.  Irish Catholic Biden is also heavily invested in the Good Friday Agreement, so Johnson can also forget about reneging on that border in the Irish Sea.
