if on November 3rd, earlybirds voters start queueing for hours to cast their ballots in person, and the turnout is so massive that still in the waiting line some voters are unable to proceed before closing time, what happens?

Republicans preference for voting in person on Nov 3 stand to take in high risks. You pointed out one of the problem. The rapidly deteriorating covid situation will complicate in-person voting and then you have to consider related staffing issues, technology problems and the weather can all contribute to a chaotic polling day. The Dems and independents who make up the majority of early voters are safer bets for the tally Biden count. Trump's strategy to his Republican supporters to vote in person may backfire on him.

Along with this we have the California Republican Party openly admitting they are distributing fake ballot boxes:   https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/10/12/california-illegal-ballot-boxes/

So the election fraud count is now at:

Indisputable evidence of fraud to support Trump--2

Evidence of fraud to support Biden--0

Put that down to 3 for Trump. His supporters are threatening and intimidating voters.

Thanks, another question I have is : due to the 4 times zones in the US, will partial exit polls results be allowed to be given if voting is still ongoing - voters having to wait for hours after official closing time - on the west coast?

In the past, they have waited for all polls to close before starting to report the numbers.   Quite a few years ago, there was a situation where they did start releasing results early and it caused a major drop in the numbers voting in the West.  Why would I stand in line for hours, if we already know who's going to win?   The big problem is that candidates running down ballot were negatively affected.

This year is such an anomaly, it's hard to say what they will do.
