Korat: Flood waters continue to rise - governor orders evacuation for some

Daily News reported that flood waters continued to rise in the Pak Thong Chai district of Nakhon Ratchasima. 

 

Many roads in the downtown area were impassable to small vehicles and even the main artery of Route 304 near Tesco Lotus was under deep water. 

 

Governor Wichien Jantharanothai was keeping close tabs on the situation as rain continued to fall.

Earlier reports suggested there had been a weir collapse and a main klong had overflowed.

 

The governor ordered those worst affected to be evacuated from the area.
