Big part of the product line is basically protein powders with added herbs/vitamins Etc. I.e. meal replacement products. Yes, they(and other brands of powders) will work, if one replaces some of the daily meals with these low calorie shakes. If one just ADDS them to ones normal intake it will naturally not work. Less calories in than burn equals weight loss. Really that simple. Not quite though as you want to lose fat and not muscle - but protein powders actually assist in doing that by maintaining muscle.

Some of their products are supposed to increase fat burning and metabolism (as well as well-being), and that is a bit more tricky to prove but it might work too (combined with above and healthly diet/exercise).

Cheers!

I had a horrible experience last year with herbalife weight loss product. I repeatedly asked the dealer if the products had ephedra or other stimulants in them. She insisted no, just natural products. I ended up at midnight in Bumrungrad Hospital with an irregular and fast heartbeat. Be careful. Stick to well labeled products.

While ephedrine and caffeine can be chemical/artificial compounds the addition of ephedra plants or other natural syn-ephidrine compounds(orange/citrus have been used) or cocoa-nut extract Etc. can mean that their statement "all natural products' is technically correct.

Personally I think herbalife is overpriced - but good quality products. For meal replacement I would use normal whey protein powder with some fruits/veggies thrown into the blender (for fibers, carbs and micro-nutrients) and if wanted to increase fat burning and immune system drink more green tea+ginger and hot peppers (I take fresh, chew a few times and swallow w water) - cheap, easy to get here and straight from the source.

Lots of the fancy natural pills have green tea, ginger and hot pepper as their main ingredients.

Cheers!
