5 year multiple entry DTV visa (Destination Thailand) from 2024-xx-xx
Well "abuse" can be many things, broadly speaking it's foreigners staying in Thailand and doing things that aren't in line with their visa or extension. Historical examples: Language school Non-Ed visa holders who didn't study. Volunteers on Non-O visas who didn't do volunteer work. Once that became widespread, a crackdown followed. If too many DTV holders are caught working illegally in Thailand, taking or selling drugs or engaging in other illegal activities, the same can be expected to happen. -

Places to stay for max 2 weeks on Jomtien Beach rd.
I looked at Natural Park Resort, in the 2 way bit of Beach Rd, which would be real handy. About 25k THB for 15 nights. A lot more than you can get a decent room for further up, I'm sure. But coming from the UK and Europe, once a year, it might be great value. Appreciate people's comments. -

How much sin sod for 28 yo single mom of 2 Bangkok suburb (Rangsit)
Not judgemental at all then? Understand that many couples, especially in rural areas, are not legally married. What does a 'village wedding' do to your stats? -

What Is the Best Way to Fly?
Personally, no alcohol, take muti minerals for water retention and drink a lot of starting water two days before so not to interfere with my sleep on the flight, and not so much water during travel unless there’s a long layover. Window seat as not having to accommodate other passengers pee routine, earplugs and eye cover. Though everyone has their own peeves about flying. -

Eviction
Thanks for posting the outcome. Not ideal, to be sure but better than living in a hostile environment. I live off of Jomtien 2nd rd. and find it to be a convenient area. The nearby Rampho market has excellent fruits & vegetables and several shops that sell household staples. Bolt & Grab are usually readily available for shopping trips. Traffic on 2nd rd. can suck on weekends and from 4 to 8pm but is otherwise ok....just a few long rides to make U-turns. There are also several back road routes that once learned, provide easy access to Makro and Lotus's without having to drive any long distances on Sukhumvit. I also have mobility issues resulting from arthritis in my knees but find Jomtien to not be particularly taxing to get around. There is a plethora of restaurants of all types quite handy to where you are. It's conceivable that once settled, you might just say: "Why didn't I move here earlier?" -
