Daily News reported widespread flooding in the districts of Wang Nam Khiaw and Na Dee of Nakhon Ratchasima and Prachinburi.

 

Route 304 between Kabinburi and Pak Thong Chai was impassable and the well-known tunnels leading to Thap Larn national park were under a meter of floodwater.

Areas leading to the Khao Yai national park were also badly affected. 

 

The Facebook site of "Thee Nee Nakhon Ratchasima" advised people to avoid some routes.

The governor of Nakhon Ratchasima Wichian Jantharanothai issued a letter warning residents of nine districts to follow the situation carefully.

    I'd guess he's obviously trying to cover his ar.se and appear to be indispensable to justify his salary.
