The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration on Wednesday reported seven new cases in quarantine over a 24-hour period.

 

The latest cases are:

 

> A 21-year-old Thai male student, who returned from Jordan on October 27 and was found positive in Bangkok state quarantine on November 1. He had a cough, runny nose and phlegm.

 

> A 27-year-old Thai male freelancer, who came home from France on October 30 and tested positive in Chon Buri state quarantine on November 2.

 

> A 39-year-old Thai woman, who travelled back from Sweden on October 31 and was found positive in alternative state quarantine at a Bangkok hotel on November 1 with a runny nose.

 

> A 56-year-old Italian businessman, who arrived on October 30 and went into quarantine at a Bangkok hotel, where he tested positive on November 2.

 

> A 22-year-old Maldivian female student, who arrived on October 30 and entered quarantine at a Bangkok hotel, where she tested positive on November 2.

 

> A 48-year-old Russian man, who arrived on October 26 and went into quarantine at a Bangkok hotel, where he was found positive on October 31.

 

> A 44-year-old Kuwaiti man, who arrived on October 28 and underwent quarantine at a Bangkok hotel, where he tested positive on November 2.

 

Meanwhile, seven patients have recovered and been discharged.

 

As of Wednesday, the number of confirmed cases in Thailand has increased to 3,804 (856 in state quarantine). Of these, 133 are in hospital and 3,612 have recovered and been discharged. The death toll remains unchanged at 59.

 

According to Worldometer, as of 10am the number of confirmed cases has increased to 47.84 million (rising by 484,509 in 24 hours). Of these, 34.35 million have recovered, 12.27 million are active cases (88,126 in severe condition) and 1.22 million have died (an increase of 8,201).

 

Thailand ranks a safe 147th for most cases in the world.

 

The US has the most number, with 9.69 million, followed by India (8.31 million), Brazil (5.56 million), Russia (1.67 million) and France (1.5 million).

Its very strange how the number of recoveries seems to match the number of new positives found in quarantine day after day from what i have seen .

Foreigners coming equipped with 100,000 dollar insurance policies is ripe for picking. 

 

Someone has to keep these hospitals afloat. 

Would be interesting to know how many arrived in total.

As Thailand does not test their people on a large scale, they do not discover a large number of new infections. However, as people in quarantine will be tested, the number of new infections detected may give an idea of the actual development in their country.

The PCR tests do NOT work. They are notoriously ineffective. This is from the Nobel Laureate who invented this test. Why continue with a test that is proving to produce more false positives or is that what they are after?

I’ve often said take can of disinfectant with you into quarantine so you can spray the room from top to bottom.
