Chinese tourists to start travelling around Thailand after completing quarantine

The first group of 33 Chinese tourists, arriving in Thailand on Special Tourist Visas (STV) from Shanghai, have completed their mandatory 14 days in quarantine, at a hotel in the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok, and are about to leave to tour the country.

CCSA panel approves 10-day quarantine

A subcommittee of the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) on Thursday approved reducing quarantine to 10 days for foreign tourists from countries with the same or slightly higher contagion risk as Thailand.

Renewable energy sector to deliver national development roadmap

Rail extension to Andaman coast for trade with BIMSTEC nations eyed

The railway line between Chumphon and Ranong provinces will be extended to Ranong port in order to facilitate the transport of goods from the mainland to BIMSTEC countries via the Andaman Sea.

EEC, high-speed railway airport link make Pattaya attractive to hotel investors

Environmental campaign turns plastics into merits

BANGKOK (NNT) - The Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment (MNRE) has since June, been receiving a lot of plastic waste, as part of the Plastics to Merits campaign. Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University today donated some 100,000 plastic bottle caps collected by students and university staff to the campaign for recycling.

PRISTINA (Reuters) - Former Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, a wartime hero turned politician, was arrested and transferred to the detention center of the Kosovo Tribunal in The Hague, the Netherlands, on Thursday to face charges of war crimes.

Koh Samui: French lady goes home after testing negative - there's no infection on island

Oil palm price hits highest level in three years due to lower output

The price of oil palm has shot up to Bt7.30 to Bt7.50 per kg, which is the highest in the past three years, said Chayodom Suwanrattana, president of the Oil Palm Growers Association of Thailand.
