Muang Chonburi police were called to a PTT gas station after a woman said she was threatened to withdraw funds at an ATM by a man waving a gun.

Thawat, 36, was found incoherent and drugged up in a Mitsubishi pick-up still parked at the ATM in the gas station on Sukhumvit Road.

Inside his vehicle was a .32 revolver with six bullets and a pack of 25 more ammunition.

There was a plastic bag with the remains of crystal meth (ice).

Thawat couldn't explain why he was there though he burbled some nonsense about someone else doing it and being hacked.

He did admit to drug use, however, and recalled that he was from Phitsanulok and lived opposite the bus station.

He has been charged with weapons offences and drug taking.

Police are waiting to charge him with threatening behaviour with a gun as the woman who called them has yet to file a report.

They are calling her back to ascertain what actually happened before proceeding with further charges against Thawat.

The most amazing part of this is the police actually turned up.

Oh no problem ,it was during daylight hours, so they were not afraid of the dark.:cheesy:

Definitely. As we both know from bitter experience, the police will rarely turn up at night out of a city centre.
