Came to malaysia with one new passport and the old passport (with my current visa) the ambassy already made wholes in to show its not valid. Swedich ambassy in Bangkok who issued my new passport said i needed to go to immigration in samui to transfer visas. I did but immigration said i didnt need to do it and they couldnt do it since i lost the arrivalcard in that passport. When i found the arrivalcard at home there was no time to go back to immigration so i took the chans. Dont know if it was just luck but i had no problems what so ever. In the ambassy in malasia i just gave them the 2 passports and my new visa and arrival was in the new passport. But might be wrong. Anyway it worked fine for me. No problems what so ever.
