Paying For Air Ticket By Atm Transfer, Has Anyone Done This?

Featured Replies

I've booked a flight, the airline is JetStar, they have different prices for each day, so I need to pay today.

The travel agent can accept credit cards or cash if we go to their office, but I'm in Sukumvit and they're in Bangkapi.

So they've asked for an ATM transfer.

My concern is that I have no receipt besides the ATM slip.

Has anybody had similar experiences?

I have done this regularly with out any problems. Transfer to their account by ATM, copy/scan the ATM transaction receipt, e-mail or fax to them then follow up with a phone call to confirm. Easy and so much better than travelling all over the town etc

thanks for that, though it'd be OK, but just wanted to check,

Yes iv done this a few times with travel agents they just gave me the account name and number paid in the cash to my account then transferd it into theres , they then poped to a atm and checked all was ok then verified my plane ticket 10mins max

My mate did this last week with NokAir (no agent involved), and his ATM receipt was his boarding pass, both ways! He got up and back fine.
