Donating Blood in BKK - where?

Likely any hospital...but certainly the Red Cross near Chulalongkorn Hospital near Lumpini park

Thanks guys. But Thai red cross have requirement be in country for min. 6 month...

I think you may find that restriction applies everywhere, 

Keep an eye on your local shopping mall, the mobile collection usually turns up a couple of times a year.

I think you will still find its not that easy as a recent arrival, I have tried at a shopping mall collection and was told No for foreigners. Even after proving a long stay etc, I was too old at 60.

Yeah....I was denied for being over 60 too

You cannot usually donate at a hospital. Blood collection is centralized at the Red Cross.

 

And their regulations (which I agree include some ludicrous ones) are applied nationwide.

 

The age limit is of longstanding. The requirement to have been in country 6 months is new to me, maybe COVID related.

Credit to you for trying! That's sad because I donated for the first time (in Thailand) this July at age 64. They have mobile sessions every 3 months at our local district office. Been here since 2017. Advised them I was previously a regular whole blood, plasma and platelet donor in U.K. They didn't bar me because of spending more than 3 months total in England between 1980 and 1996.
