I think I need to go into the undertaker business and rent out refrigerated caskets.  Looks like the investment will pay off nicely.  Have not found anything that says it is a Thai only job.

will NEED A WORK PERMIT !!!

Passing on the inside becomes necessity when so many Thai ignoramuses stay in the outside lane driving at speeds well less than 90. They should have their vehicles impounded and have long driving bans.

I agree absolutely , Nick. It would take time to become normal, but not impossible with a higher police presence and public info bulletins. Slow moving traffic only on the left lane.

Who is in charge here. The most dangerous place to drive just became more dangerous. I guess Thailand feels left out on all the covid deaths so needs to make up ground.

Countries with most killed persons on the roads.

Do They want to get the first place back?

Did they ever loose their #1 ranking for road accidents and deaths?

This is crazy - it actually increases the variety of speed differentials on Thai roads.

I also overlooks the fact that Thai roads may LOOk like they are good for speed, but in reality they aren't, so a complicated set of rules and roads that are deceptive and unfit for speed inevitably will result in an increase in crashes.

This is insane! The posted speed limit is 90 kph and most drivers are doing at least 110 kph, so if you raise the limit to 120 they will be doing 150 kph. More accidents more deaths. Maybe if there were more police or state troopers out on petrol and ticketing violators this would almost make sense.

I thought a few African places were closer to #1 than Thailand

And we will still have the <deleted> driving in the RH lane @ 80km/h being  a dangerous nuisance.

Yes, how true that is, and they won't move over no matter what.

That's going to look real nice when a tractor trailer pulls out of a u turn in front of someone doing 120

Most cars have brakes - meanwhile a good driver will anticipate the tractor

Meanwhile motorcycles have an 80kph speed limit, though big bikes of 35kW or more have a 100kph ceiling.

How would anybody with a big bike only ride in the second, perhaps third gear? I would fall asleep doing 100 km/h.
