Before the election the pro Biden media apparently didn't even write about it. Many that voted for Biden apparently hadn't even heard of it, and I believe that Twitter banned any mention of it. I saw a news clip where the boss of Twitter apologised for that.

They didn't write about the alleged computer and what it contained. The reason for that being that its provenance was not established. The NY Post did zero investigative work on the alleged info. The reporter who wrote the story refused to have his name attached to it. Giuliani refused to release the metadata that could have established the validity of the information and the provenance of the computer. And there was the bizarreness of the story itself. Apart from that, there was no good reason to ignore the story.

Far as I know they ignored Bobulinsky telling how he had personal knowledge of wrongdoing by Hunter Biden. That  was in October and was nothing to do with the computer.

This was reported, but it's a "he said, she said" thing.  It can't be confirmed.  So yes, many ignored it.  Only Trump's cult members paid attention to this.

And without independent confirmation, what is Bobulinski's word worth? Or maybe you'll tell me that  unsupported affidavits ought to count as serious evidence? We've seen what courts think of that.

What are you talking about? They have the emails, with Bobulinski copied in. He has confirmed exactly what was going on in China, and confirmed the emails are legitimate. From memory didn't Hunter's partner Devon Archer also confirm them from prison, and gave the police his login password for extra confirmation of the emails.

 

 End of the day, there is one easy question. It would put all suspicions about biden to bed right now. But the left just can not answer it, which is why there is the need for censorship. Maybe Jeffr2 can answer it, must be worth a try?

 

 Why did America's overseas enemies like China and Russia pay millions of dollars to Hunter Biden? Before answering bear in mind that Hunter himself knows he was not qualified for these positions, he is not an energy expert, nor does he speak Chinese or Russian. They did not pay him for fun. Compare your answer with the Bobulinski interviews and you will see why conservatives are extremely concerned about Joe Biden assuming the Presidency. And you will see why the left need censorship to try maintaining a facade of respectability which is laughed at by the other 1/2 of the divide. The question is open for anyone, and will be asked over and over until it is answered. If you can't answer the question satisfactorily, you again confirm what is and was obvious from the start.

They did write about it. But on the media questions 'please show us the metadata so the emails can be verified' it has been awfully quiet. So it was, rightfully, ignored.

He gave his interviews after the information was released. So no, it confirms nothing. As the Wall Street Journal pointed out, the texts he shared with them prove nothing about the involvement of Joe Biden and nothing to establish the authenticity of the computer.

And they were right, due to the suspect nature of the non-evidence provided.

If Giuliani had true evidence, what would have been the expected behaviour?

Make digital copies of the computer files and distribute it to well know media such as Fox News, CNN, etc... and also foreign media such as  the BBC, The Telegraph, and maybe also some Computer magazines. It would have ensured wide diffusion and give everyone the opportunity to check files.

 

What happened: he lost time making pdf copies which cannot be checked and gave it to a minor media. And then, Fox News was able to intensively promote  this conspiracy without having to bare any risk, as it always was "according to the NYP..."

 

Giuliani's lame trick was so obvious... ????
