texas head of GOP is barking about secession.

Some of 45's sycophants, like 'diamond & silk', are calling for a military coup.  I don't think those two clowns have standing with Gen Milley.

Curious to see what lame excuses the Trump ThaiVisa squad will have now....

They'll parrot what they were told on Fox, as usual.

The suit just got rejected by the Supreme Court excellent!!

From the BBC News website this morning.

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-55283024

The US Supreme Court has rejected an unprecedented attempt to throw out election results in four battleground states that was backed by President Donald Trump.

The lawsuit, filed this week by the state of Texas, sought to invalidate results in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

President-elect Joe Biden won all four.

The lawsuit was supported by 18 state attorneys general and 106 Republican members of Congress.

But in a brief order rejecting the bid, the Supreme Court ruled on Friday that Texas did not have legal standing to bring the case.

Secession? Rush Limbaugh floats a startling notion — then quickly backs off.

"Rush Limbaugh isn’t saying he wants the country to split into red and blue factions as a result of conservative fury over the election results. As he attempted to make clear Thursday, he’s just saying that other people are saying it.

“I know that there’s a sizable and growing sentiment for people who believe that’s we’re headed to, whether we want to get there or not, secession,” he said on his nationwide radio program. “Now, I didn’t advocate for it. I never would advocate for secession. I’m simply repeating what I have heard.”

...

“I actually think that we’re trending toward secession,” he said on Wednesday’s show. “I see more and more people asking what in the world do we have in common with the people who live in, say, New York? What is there that makes us believe that there is enough of us there to even have a chance at winning New York? Especially if you’re talking about votes.”

Texas GOP chair floats secession for 'law-abiding states' after Supreme Court defeat

The chair of the Texas Republican Party appeared to float secession after the Supreme Court shot down a lawsuit led by the Lone Star State seeking to overturn the results of the presidential election.

Texas GOP chair Allen West rebuked the high court in a statement, saying that "law-abiding states" should "form a Union" after the decision throwing out the lawsuit from Texas.

...

The court’s ruling, which said that Texas lacked the legal right to litigate over how other states conduct their elections, represented a devastating blow to efforts by President Trump and his allies to challenge the election results.
