Charity Boxing Match in Pattaya

Pattaya City Council will stage a charity boxing match June 4th, 2007 at Fairtex Boxing Stadium on Thepprasit Rd. The sponsors intend to use the proceeds to fund the purchase of computers for a local school. It is expected that many champions will participate in the bout.

On May 4th, Mr. Wuthisak Rermkitkarn, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya City, chaired the meeting to arrange the Charity Boxing Match of the North-Easterner Society in Pattaya. Attendees included Pattaya North-Easterner Society Chairman Kamlah Benjawanich, boxing instructor Yodthong Sriwaralak, Pattaya City Advisor and Pattaya Gold Merchants Chairman Somchai Manothaworn and other members of the organizing committee.

Mr. Kamlah Benjawanich announced that the objective of the charity boxing match is to provide income to purchase 10 computers for the School of the No-Chances in the Northeast to allow the students to receive education and support in information technology to able to use the computers effectively.
