Those who criticize Bitcoin and claim it to be a scam, are those same ones which now regret not having invested into bitcoin last year when it was trading at like ~7,000 USD ????

not interested in participating into a scam, and I know one when I see one ????

Like I never regretted not spending 100 EUR per month on Lottery tickets and missing out on the 100m EUR payout ????

If you buy Bitcoin at 7,000 USD and sell at 51,000 USD how is it a scam? Or comparable to Lottery tickets?

Really curious

Criticizing it is a good way of fooling themselves, and that way reduce the grief of not having multiplied their savings by like close to ten times in one year.

I bought my Bitcoins for $350, Litecoins for $4, Ethereums for $200, Dashes for $40 and so on, and currently have more crypto assets than most users here, and I know the cryptos better than most users here. And that's exactly why I criticize them - because I know how they work, not by just reading the paid articles on random websites.

The only way to really know how crypto works is of course being a developer. From what I read from you I highly doubt you are one.

Investors, which have no formal education in CS, might make money out of cryptos, but they see it as the stock market, and don't really understand the technology behind it, and/or take it for what it is.

You say you bought your Bitcoins for $350, Litecoins for $4, but I never used a single dollar of fiat currency to buy any crypto whatsoever, and yet it's probable I have more crypto assets than you... (And I am not talking about mining)

Today, gold still occupies an important place in our culture and society – we use it to make our most prized objects: wedding rings, Olympic medals, money, jewellery, Oscars, Grammys, crucifixes, art and many more. 1. My precious: Gold has been used to make ornamental objects and fine jewellery for thousands of years.

What can you use a bitcoin for?

I know the inside logic of Bitcoins and I can tell you there is no technology behind it, it's a silly loop of calculations being done billions of times over on a long string of "hexchars" to make sure there is full integrity based on some arbitrary gameplay, and who the <deleted> knows why. The original white paper is a complete fantasy, and the guy who wrote the gameplay doesn't even exist, even admitted by one of the bitcoin creator, so it was a scam from day 1, a growth hack for buzzwords and attention.

all this so it can be stolen by your local hackers, or exchange operator or simply forgetting the password of your cold storage ????

people are so stupid and gullible, it's amazing how they can still believe in fairy tales as adults ????

That explanation is probably the same way my 90 years old grandma could explain. "Loop of mathematical calculations being done over and over again"

Sorry to say, but you clearly have no idea about how Blockchain works, hence why you call it scam. ????‍♂️

No local hacker and I am willing to bet not even god can steal your Bitcoins if you keep them at an offline wallet (aka a piece of paper). Though, of course, I am sure you would have to Google: "How to keep my Bitcoin in a piece of paper"

oh I do, I have worked on them. You probably read some propaganda thing and think you got it. I actually read the code behind it and I can see <deleted> they are doing. Can you? ????

How about those that bought Bitcoin at 20K end of 2017? What were they saying when it dropped to 7K last year?

Oh wait, they all knew it would go to 50K and just held on to it, not?

Let's see what people who bought today at 50K will say next year. They may be happy chappies or suicidal, only the future will tell

Mate, I am ctabuyo. I "hacked" Apple's super safe mobile operative system "iOS" more than once, and more importantly the "iCloud Activation Lock". Don't try to teach me lessons on coding or CS. ????‍♂️

Like I said, there is a reason why I probably have bigger crypto assets that you, without having myself used a single dollar in fiat currency to purchase crypto, and without having mined it either....

However you claim to know it all, it is quite obvious that you don't even know that blockchain and Bitcoin are two completely different things.

Yes Bitcoin use blockchain, but that is the only thing they have in common

No it isn't, I don't see many stocks move 50% up or down in a matter of days, but I see that with casino players winnings

You have to be crazy to buy BTC at these prices.  Maybe you will double your money in a few years, or maybe it will go back down to $100. It's a casino. Much better to play around with penny stocks where you might get a ten bagger.

indeed, no shortage of fools in this world

Looking at the code without bursting out laughing is indeed quite a challenge for all those <deleted>coins ????

Smart contract my ass, it's all a con job!!!

Yes about the technology in which Bitcoin is based, which is Blockchain I know pretty much a lot. Mainly because I work with it.

About Bitcoin, not so much, see I am not a trader or investor per se. Mainly just have had luck with HODL. But that is not the point.

The point is that the other dude claims Blockchain is useless and a scam, and that's far from it. Blockchain has a million different applications, other than Bitcoins, and many of them not even related with finance. It is a technology which everyday is growing in importance, regardless of what the other dude says.

only if you knew who I am LOL ????

I hacked the NSA in my sleep, and can still all your bitcoins LOL

Ah yes, and I went to Mars in a spacecraft built by myself, found and alien and took him back to earth with me.

Dreaming is free, just like you dream you can understand the code behind Blockchain. Why don't you provide some proof to your words and share your Github, so we all see how much you really understand that code ????

I on the other hand, told you my nickname, so you can verify and see and Google by yourself all I've done related to "coding"

and if you looked closely, it's a not a tech either. There are 100 better ways to achieve the same results as Blockchain without needing the same intense resources and over complexity of the calculations. It's a complete waste of CPU/GPU resources.

it's just that a lot of developers are bored, and like to invent what we call "ghost" technologies as a way to IP their code and gain stardomship ????

the tech world is polluted with millions of "fake" techs that try to re-invent the wheels, or create a new framework that doesn't any value or utility, and they can only "pimp" those techs with buzzwords and growth hacks because they are <deleted> worthless!!!

Governments and big corps investing in Blockchain every signle day at a growing rate. But hey, here we have GrandPapilon who knows better than them. Have you sent them your advice yet?

don't be silly, they test the tech out of curiosity, like they did in 2015, and yet no major project have come out of it. Even Singapore, the hub of financial frauds, have abandoned a lot of those fake "BLC" projects.

It's all PoC and toys for now, very quickly CTOs and Product Managers realize that nothing is coming out of this

how old is ETH and Smart Contract? any major project on serious Production using them? hell no, it's all speculation on the bitcoin exchanges for fools looking to spice up their 1,000 USD in savings ????

DHL, Maersk and even the Chinese government  are using blockchain applications successfully and reliably. (and these just come to mind, there are many others and many more will follow)

Blockchains applications go beyond cryptocurrencies and finance. Literally anyone can make a scam shtcoin out of blockchain. But that doesn't mean blockchain itself is sht or a scam.
