Does anyone know if its possible to retain your Thai tel number if you lose your sim card ?

And if so how do you go about it ? (Im in Bangkok).

Happened to me last year. To keep your same tel number, obtain police report and take to office of your tel provider.

All above correct, just to satisfy your provider the number is yours, they will probably ask you questions such as, the last time you topped it up, how much did you top up etc.
