Thailand is more than double the legal limit for particulate matter in the air than the UK and EU.

Yes but they continue to buy rice! In spite of the global warming meltdown, the UK and EU remain silent. Life is cheap. ????

Once again a totally misleading statement made only because they hiked the upper " safe " reading to twice what it is in European cities ..

And even those are continuing to strive to lower their upper threshold ..

Nothing seems to change in Thailand.

Thirty years ago, while on my then-annual holiday in Bangkok, The Bangkok Post indicated that, for lung heath, living in Bangkok was the equivalent of smoking a pack of cigarettes a day.  The article went on to mention that, at any given time, a third of Bangkok's traffic policemen were on sick leave.

Thailand has now destroyed what little livability it had left.  It's globally gained the reputation as LOS..Land of Smog.  We have decided to go somewhere breathable.  For the cost of one Chinese submarine the junta could buy 4000 new tractors to clear crops.  Insane.

And when you think that 50 is the Thai limit for safety while in Europe it is 25.

Perhaps they will up the safe limit to 100 and say things are great

with so many great places on the world to retire why would anyone choose the land of smog?

oh excuse me I forgot, it’s great to lock yourself in your room with the filters on and live wearing a gas mask????????
