Yes, pretty much. I thought 36 is just the extension of 331,so pretty much part of it. Whatever it is, I myself was the victim of an attempted robbery on that stretch 12 years ago,while riding my bicycle,. Ended up in Piyavate hospital Bovin and to have my head stitched up. Lots of locals subsequently told that me that this a very dangerous area. I also often heard from Thais that Chonburi is the most dangerous province in Thailand. Not sure whether that is Thai urban myth or based on statistics.

and NO they could NOT BUY a driving licence !!!

The pictures that are shown in the OP are not just showing the damage as a result of the impact (in a car that is designed to crumple to absorb the impact), they are the pictures after the rescue services had cut the car up to release the driver...

"The rescue team soon had him cut out..."
