The OP is a serial Thailand-hater from way back.  He returns every so often....to remind us how much he hates Thailand.  And the way he talks about his current home--Florida--is a bit over-the-top.  I've been to Florida many times and it's not that great.  Especially with the current knucklehead Governor.  But hey, to each his own.

I'd be more impressed if he could actually backup his claims with a few happy photos of his home and life in Florida.

I enjoy Florida, and if I were living there, I'd be too busy enjoying myself to troll Thailand forums.

Yep, seems he's been burned at some point , then needs to return (vitually) to vent his bile on a place he no longer claims he wants to be, yet cant seem to leave alone.

 

Thailand offers so much, and just like life in general, its what you make of it, different people have different tastes, expectations and needs. People shouldnt run down an entire nation and country based on one persons soured distorted experience and enbittered view.

As for the girls, I'd give 'pink' a go (given the chance).

That is because they are NOT holiday places, they are all LOCAL places.

 

You have to go on a holiday, I can just go up and down the Street A1A and have all those places and many more within 30 minutes or less.

 

Those are the everyday eat out kind of places.

 

Rusty's hasn't changed the past 20 years.

 

The idea was to give you the idea what is here locally. There is NO need to take a holiday because that is what Florida is.

Here are some holiday snaps from Aruba. A 2 Hour flight from Miami for less than $200 US. 

 

We go a couple times a year. 

 

Even my wife likes it 100 times better than going to Thailand.

 

Florida is close to all the Caribbean Islands and South America.

 

The destinations are really unlimited.
