libya 115
SOURCE: Pattaya People: May 15th 2007 Member of “Tao Naklua Gang” Found The Pattaya Police have been given strict orders to keep their eyes and ears open for any information that will lead to suppressing criminal activities in Pattaya. On 14th May the investigating team was informed that something illegal was hidden in a house No. 129 Moo 5, Naklua, therefore asked for a search warrant to be issued so they could inspect the place. The team searched around the house and found a gun hidden in the kitchen. There were lots of bullets - also evidence of 4 bullets already been used and a pair of police radios with a battery charger. Anuwat Ninphothong, aged 19, who had just woken up, confessed that the gun belonged to him so he was taken back to the police station where it was discovered that Anuwat is a member of the notorious Tao Naklua Gang. Further investigations are now under way.

Kerryd
"Police Arrest Members Of Notorius 'tao Naklua Gang', Guns And Ammuntion And Police Radios Seized......." Another (slightly) misleading headline. Note that "members" usually means more than one person, and "guns" also would suggest more than a single item. When I saw the headline, I actually thought maybe the police had actually busted up a big gang and siezed a large stash of weapons. One person and one handgun ? Wow. (I'm browsing their site right now though, and don't see this story anywhere. Did you pull it from the paper itself or their website ?)
