BANGKOK (Reuters) - Moderna will submit to Thailand its application for approval for its COVID-19 vaccine this month, a health official said on Thursday, as the country gets ready for its mass vaccination drive.

(Reuters) - Ecuador has reached a preliminary agreement with a unit of Thailand's state-run PTT PCL to extend to 2024 the payment period of an oil-for-loan agreement that was originally planned to be fully paid through 2022, the South American country's energy minister, Rene Ortiz, said on Thursday.

Constitutional Court allows parliament to go ahead with constitutional amendments

Bangkok’s Lumpini boxing stadium to reopen Saturday for online and broadcast audiences only

(Reuters) - Novavax Inc's COVID-19 vaccine was 96% effective in preventing cases caused by the original version of the coronavirus in a late-stage trial conducted in the United Kingdom, the company said on Thursday, moving it a step closer to regulatory approval.
