Quite fancy going ...but its a long way.. and I don't want to go on my own as I may get lost. Anyone going with transport...share costs?

KDF and his wife Boo were thinking of coming if they got back in time. They do not have transportation and might go with you. PM KDK.

We are leaving Friday morning early, returning to Pattaya on Monday morning. My wife is from Surin, and we were planning the trip anyway. She will visit with her family. while myself and our son comes with me to the farrang connection. The way we go is via Saikeaw to NongRong. this avoids the checkpoints over the mountain on 304.

Thanks to you all for replies to this topic.

Unfortunately we definitely cannot go . We were planning on moving to a new rented house at the end of July I had gone to speak to the estate agent who told me it had been sold 2 months ago and that he sent me an email to tell me .

So 2.5 weeks til we go to uk on a visit and 12 days when we get back to sort out another rental . TIT
