BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand will procure an additional 100,000 doses of China's Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine to be used and paid for by businesses, an industry group said on Thursday, in the first phase of a private sector vaccination scheme.

Thai court sentences 15 people to up to 5 years for 2017 soccer match-fixing

Fifteen people in Thai League soccer circles, including a former referee, a former linesman, a former soccer club manager, former players and others, were sentenced to prison terms of 1 to 5 years today by the Criminal Court in a landmark match-fixing case.

MAE SOT, Thai-Myanmar border (Reuters) - Hundreds of people have fled Myanmar's towns and cities since last month's military coup and are sheltering in areas controlled by ethnic militias on the Thai border, an official from one of the groups said on Thursday, as Thailand prepared for a surge of refugees.

Thai February domestic car sales drop 10.9% year-on-year

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Domestic car sales in Thailand dropped for a second straight month in February, down 10.9% from year earlier to 58,960 vehicles, amid concerns about a new coronavirus outbreak, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) said on Thursday.

LONDON (Reuters) - A new algorithm-based study by a group of UK universities has predicted that 63 countries – roughly half the number rated by the likes of S&P Global, Moody's and Fitch - could see their credit ratings cut because of climate change by 2030.

LONDON (Reuters) - Britain will have to slow its COVID-19 vaccine rollout next month due to a supply crunch caused by a delay in a shipment of millions of AstraZeneca shots from India and the need to test the stability of an additional 1.7 million doses.

Recycling warehouse caretaker sells 20 tonnes of secondhand steel without boss knowing
