BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's cabinet on Tuesday approved financial measures worth 350 billion baht ($11.31 billion) to help the business sector recover from the impact of coronavirus outbreaks, the country's deputy finance minister Santi Promphat said.

TAT to propose “Sandbox” travel bubble model to the CCSA this Friday

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is to propose a new travel bubble model, for tourists from certain countries or cities, to enter the country without the requirement for quarantine, called “Sandbox”. If approved, it will be trialed on the resort island of Phuket.

Thailand today recorded 401 new COVID-19 cases, including a cluster of 318 infections among illegal immigrants held at Suan Plu and Bang Khen detention centres, the CCSA announced today (Tuesday).

PHUKET: Sirinath National Park officers confirmed today (Mar 23) that the spotted dolphin found dead with severe slash wounds across its body last week was actually dead before any cuts had been inflicted.
