Very confused about E visa system
More importantly it needs to be paid at Savannakhet consulate at this stage in person. The time for processing is not clear. Also the OP (absent) stated... "I not have the financial requirements (400K)" Don't really follow the strategy. With no funds for 12 month extension he would be best off obtaining visa exempt entry 60 + 60 day extension to visit wife and sort out finances. Never understand issue with financial requirements for extensions based on marriage. Such a basic requirement especially compared to retirement. -

Perhaps those that have financial and emotional ties in Thailand. A member posted earlier on another thread that he will not leave his Thai family for 6 months of the year. I guess some people will just have to pay. -
