Netizens were full of praise for the actions of a bus driver and his conductress after they picked up a forlorn dog wandering the expressway in the area of Chang Wattana in Bangkok.

Amarin TV reported that no one minded when 166 driver Teuan Prathumthong and his sidekick Noknoi Seedam stopped to pick up another passenger!

Earlier radio station JS 100 had reported the dog wandering about causing dangerous braking on the expressway. It was in the heat of the day and he looked exhausted with his tongue hanging out.

After getting on the bus the dog hid under a seat.

Owner Jiraporn was alerted to the JS 100 post and knew this was "Cookie".

She had inadvertently left the door open on Sunday and Cookie had run off through a construction site and been missing for two days.

She had almost given up hope but now they were reunited.

She got Cookie, a former stray, from a dog's home and had been looking after him for a year.

Owner, as in the person who will make good any bites/damage that a dog will do?
