I'm sure they are fully aware although them and other HISO's and other privileged few whom have received their jabs already then it is not a problem. Since when have these sort, or those before them in the past, ever given a tuppeny toss about the normal folk in this country, so hence no problem. That's the problem. The pubs are warned of upcoming checks and have time to prepare. I was in a pub on Thong Lor about to eat dinner at 17.30. Yes, that's early and we were the first customers. I could see a security guard and some other "official in uniform" outside and the staff were hurrying around cleaning up and all started wearing masks. 30 minutes later a group of people came in to exam the place, took notes and left. The staff took off their masks and came over to us to apologise for the interuption and told us that it was a Covid-19 check. 1

Since all entertainment venues have to operate under Covid regulations all visitors need to register and so all of them are known to the authorities anyway. Or not...?!

mtls2005
Vaping is quite popular at the Thong Lor venues, both inside and outside. As is the sharing of vapes. Lollipops not shared so much. I assume the virus can spread via the gigantic vape clouds? And I'm still shocked that Nitrous is sold openly, and of course people share the balloons. In EU you would never know who was where when. They certaily wouldn't test everybody in sight. Thailand has faults but fir Corona containment they do a lot better than any western country. Its closer to .04% now, that's just the official figures and the virus ain't finished yet. But it wouldn't matter if your 0.1% was correct - how would you feel if someone close to you was included in those figures?

Someone close to me have died, but not because of Covod-19 , but because of too late diagnosis and as a consequence too late treatment. And many more people died and will die from other more lethal diseases because all they care now is Covid-19 so please if you believe in that, go take a Vaccine and let rest of us have normal life and can prevent much more lethal diseases than this ordinary flu.
