webfact Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 Picture: Naew Na Naew Na reported that Crime Suppression Division police armed with warrants searched five places in Buriram in the north east of Thailand in connection with an online gambling ring. Sixteen arrests were made and a great deal of electrical equipment and accounts' details was seized in evidence. In March the CSD through their website and other pages had become aware of a gambling operation in the province centered around www.sajoker123. This page was being used to advertise and encourage others to set up illegal operations and was prepared to sell username data for 300,000 baht. In total the arrests pertained to the running of nine other websites with a total monthly turnover of 50 million baht. All those arrested have been charged with offences related to illegal online gambling. -- © Copyright Thai Visa News 2021-04-07 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow Thaivisa on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates 1
