A drama played out on Facebook through the night in the early hours of Sunday morning after a tearful mother failed to get medical treatment for her ten month old child with Covid.

They were allegedly turned away from four hospitals as the child battled a high fever.

Many people shared and commented on the posts.

But it had a happy ending. Another post indicated that the child had been seen by doctors at Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital in Sai Mai, northern Bangkok, and was allowed home after treatment, reported Sanook.

The hospital that bears the name of the last king, caters to the military mainly but also the general public, notes Thaivisa.

A sad loss to the country... someone who had foresight & compassion.

It would be interesting to know the name on the 4 hospitals that rejected the little!
