Govt deposits final payment for Rao Rak Kan payout recipients

BANGKOK (NNT) - The government has paid the last 1,000 baht allowance to recipients in the Rao Rak Kan campaign for persons insured in the Social Security scheme. However, recipients joining the campaign late because of application issues will receive the full 4,000 baht in a single deposit, the use of which will expire at the end of May.

Field hospitals receiving COVID-19 patients as hospital beds become scarce

BANGKOK (NNT) - The surge in COVID-19 cases in recent days has proven to be a challenge of hospital capacity. Field and temporary hospitals, like the one at Thammasat University, are now receiving COVID-19 patients to ensure hospital beds will be available for those who need them more.

Myanmar students to hold a charity art and culture event in Bangkok

An art and culture concert, called “Myanmar Spring”, is to be held on April 24th at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC Hall). The charity event is being organized by Myanmar students in Thailand, in the hope of raising awareness and raising funds in support of the anti-coup Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM), internally displaced individuals and families of those who have lost their lives in Myanmar conflicts.

Mitsubishi Motors to cut output in Japan and Thailand due to chip shortage

Urgent: Visitors to SEVEN Hua Hin entertainment venues should go for Covid tests immediately

Thai domestic tourism takes massive hit in first half of 2021 - 130 billion baht down

Five passengers, including two children, were killed and several others were injured when a double-decker tour bus, in which they were travelling, caught fire on the Friendship Highway in Ban Haed district of Thailand’s northeastern province of Khon Kaen on Monday night.
