Manchester United's new colours

MANCHESTER: -- Not to be outdone, after the Thai prime minister acquired a good slice of the Liverpool football club, Manchester United has put in a bid to buy the whole of Thailand.

Sir Alex Ferguson said, "We see it as a good investment, after all it is a third world country and we can get it cheaply if we move on it now".

"We understand that we're up against Japan who've also put in a bid but we believe we'll be successful as we've got more money than them".

"Also, we see it as becoming the de facto owner of the Liverpool club so I can't see them winning any more championships".

"We'll use it as a holiday destination for our players and directors and we also see it as a money spinner in the world-wide market for drugs and sex slaves".
