I'm hearing mixed reports on the costs, from 700 baht a night to 30k a night. Might be worth keeping track on here of peoples experience of charges.

 

One Pattaya guy currently posting on facebook started off at Bang Lamung at 700 baht a night, now being charged 10k and being forced to move to a hospital in Bangkok with no symptoms and not being allowed another test, first positive test result was dubious. Another guy with a similar story.

 

I can see why people are avoiding testing because you are then stuck in the system like the guy mentioned even if no symptoms

    Heard earlier that a guy covid + with minor symptoms, just got a bill from a Pattaya hospital for 180k, insurance company are denying claim, hospital holding passport until he pays.....
