Obviously you have not tried getting Thais a Schengen visa, or Australian or NZvisa for more than a brief holiday. I have.

Thailand is on the list 'flagged' as likely to overstay and cause problems for those and many other places. Hence virtually impossible to get long-stay visas except for university, which is prohibitively expensive for many Thai kids and even then they have to return on completion.

No idea what you're doing but I've been to Germany once with a Thai girl on a Schengen visa (during the pandemic even) and Australia about 30 times with many different Thai girls. Visa approved every time - Australia even grants multiple entry visas every time without requesting it.

... 555, I was once led to believe that shape was choosen to resemble the precious Schweizer Alpengipfel, the mountains, Hollaredulliöööhhhh (yodeling) ...

Nothing is ever that simple in Switzerland though, so your boxwise reasoning is just as likely ...

I have a different theory: Toblerone's triangular shape emulates the sudden blood sugar spike a consumer will experience after having ingested a couple of pieces.

But I could be wrong. It might well be in the shape of a Hollaredulliöööhhhh Alpengipfel. Matterhorn, perhaps?

Wanting a better life does not mean an individual  hates their homeland.

What assistance do Thai's receive from the authorities?

Last year, if lucky,  5,000 thb p/m benefit  for 3 months!!!

Covid is limiting peoples freedom of movement so departing Thailand is a non starter for most people except the hi-so or Red Bull company family members.

The day may come when permission to visit another town will be required by LAW let alone leave a country.

With countless posts asking for and sharing tips on life overseas on the “Let’s Move, Let’s Move Our Hips,” group, originally named “Let’s Move Abroad”, those expressing interest in moving out have been branded “country haters” by the government and its supporters, with their motives being questioned.

The Thai government fall flat in its failure to address and solve the Covid issues.
A large block of citizens look for an alternative.
The Thai government wages a campaign of hate against those looking for alternatives by branding them "country haters."

It's like a drunken father who beats his step-child for the father's own failings when the child attempts to run away from the father's abuse.

And when more join in blowing their horns, plucking their strings and beating their drums we have a bona-fide symphonic orchestra at hand.

No need to start a Facebook page to discredit the government. They are doing a really good job themselves the utter shambles they are making of the Chinese virus situation.I always said they were very lucky last time . Nothing to do with the way they handled it
