I'm thinking of getting a mortgage but as I only get funds/salary from abroad, think it might be a problem.

Can anyone recommend a bank?

I am dual citizen, Thai/British.

We've had a lot of good experiences with SCB.

It certainly won't hurt to talk to them but funds from abroad could be an issue.

Thanks Khun Crossy.

I expect that it will be a problem but I will certainly go to ask SCB.

If your Thai I don't see you having a problem as long as your funding from abroad to Thailand can be confirmed.

Hopefully, I only want about 30%.

I also have a small piece of land as collateral.

Me too, SCB was the easiest.

All they were really interested in was selling a 20 year life insurance paid upfront to cover the loan.

Zero interest in collateral except for the house they were loaning the 90% to buy.

I ve used SCB twice takes about two weeks real easy to deal with . You ll get a crappy rate the first three years , but after three you go back and they ll give you a much better rate .
