Did they say where the Mueang cases were?

On April 10th the majority were at the Flintstones pub which is a long way out of the city, but not that far from me. Hopefully that cluster has been dealt with.

New commercials started on television yesterday showing Covid being knocked to the floor of a boxing ring with the quote of "Vaccinate to help knock out Covid".  They are truly doing outreach, however, how many do not watch the news or regular television.

Mostly family transmission and markets I read in Chonburi.

The BMA has started to set up vaccination centers around Bangkok. This is Bang Rak Vaccination and Health Center. It is next to the UOB Robot Building and very close to BTS St Louis #Bangkok #Thailand

RIP to the 34 people who lost their lives.

It's not showing any signs of abating, is it? Just seven weeks until the Phuket sandbox idiocy pilot scheme is due to start, and to allow entertainment venues, bars and eateries to reopen they're going to need far fewer deaths and daily new cases. Maybe they'll get lucky, and maybe the authorities will simply gerrymander the numbers, but looking at the figures over the last month it's kind of hard to see how it's going to happen naturally.

About 70 to 80 per cent of small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are suffering from a lack of liquidity since the third Covid-19 wave hit Thailand in late March and 100,000 could close for good, warned Saengchai Theerakulwanich, president of the Federation of Thai SMEs, calling for urgent government help

So sad isn't it.  Yet strange that unlike almost all other countries,  in Thailand it appears it has only affected the less well off when it comes to deaths. Now we know from the world records so far that generally it is the less  well off that are disproportionately affected but for Thailand to have 98% deaths amongst the disadvantaged of the nation is surprising.

How many more 'inside' haven't been tested?

10:00 Panusaya, aka Rung, one of Thailand’s protest leaders recently released on bail, posted on her Facebook page that she has just tested positive for COVID-19. She has spent most time at home since her release.
