What's your best guess? When will bars re-open in Pattaya?

Bars will reopen once the current outbreak in BKK is contained. My guess 15 August

That's the critical point. If Chonburi was an island they could reasonably safely reopen at the end of the month, with the way the number of daily new cases is falling. but it's connected to greater Bangkok, and as soon as the people there (especially the types who like to drink in the bars in Thonglor, or attend boxing matches at the Lumpini arena) see that the bars in Pattaya (or Bang Saen for that matter) are open again, they'll be leaping into their Porsches and Beemers and heading down here for the nightlife.

At least another month, even though Pattaya cases dropping, nationwide cases rising.

20000 vaccines out of original 40000 also never made it down.

So will be lucky if opens in July

Somehow, not being able to see the girls in person, or be able to touch them or take them home takes something away from the experience.

Would that be the American Indian, or the India Indian variant?

India Indian. What's the next strain going to be that they'll use to scaremonger us? Place your bets please:

Bangladesh:  7-1

Italy: 8-1

France: 9-1

Papua New Guinea: 12-1

Ghana: 15-1

Mexico: 20-1

Peru: 25-1

Madagascar: 30-1

The Vatican variant: 500-1

If Chonburi goes two weeks with zero infections, the pressure to re-open would be enormous.

Two incubation periods is preferable.

That's 1 month after little to no community transmission has been discovered.

Give 39 new cases were discovered the other day, I would say bars opening are months away, not weeks.

Cases are dropping here because people are leaving.

It's a ghost town out there.

Without proper segregation of provinces, cases can be in Chonburi and traveling out, or outside Chonburi and traveling in.

This won't be a popular post, but here goes...

Never...

If you still think the reaction to this virus is about the public's health, then you aren't paying attention...

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, and I am happy to listen, but to say bars will never open again, apart from closures, needs a little more explanation for you, if your post is to be take seriously.
