What?

Some of them look very young which is around 30 to 40  so why did they get the jab first when we are told that all foreigners that is below 60 should wait?

Teachers possibly.

Ha....nope.....but tempted to pop up there and see if I can swing a jab out of her.

That's vaccine's linked with blood clots, yes?   What made you refuse Sinovac?

The birth control pill is also very closely linked with blood clots. Should it be banned?

And is there any evidence that there is a much greater incidence of blood clots among vaccinated people against those unvaccinated?

A bit show off, as usual.

Thailand has 65 M people, German has 80 M people.

That close, put the output of vax people is in German around 1.4 M per day. They are almost through.

And I have read today that the UK have administered 60 million doses with round a third of that having their second dose (gov.uk website)

To all the naysayers that said foreigners will never get it for free, do you believe it now, now that you saw it with your own eyes?

Also, of course there’s mainly rubbishy comments on this article, didn’t expect anything else from this crowd!

Should read expats in Korat delighted to be part of a clinical trail, receive first dose of emergency use only COVID-19 vaccine.

They better check their health insurance also. I believe they don't cover vaccine adverse events.

Why have so many new posters appeared in this thread?  Those with just a few posts to their name, and ALL of them seem to be anti-vaccination, and peddling links to tin-hat loony theories.....

Nothing tin hat about all CV vaccines still in clinical trials for the next two and all are under emergency use only. That's fact.

Takes anything up to 8 years to fully approve a vaccine

There's no official announcement that foreign teachers should be vaccinated first before others.

It's already announced that all foreigners should wait next month to be registered via the new app.

Teachers are to all be vaccinated before school restarts. You must have missed that. Been in plenty of other news as well.

UNICEF welcomes the Royal Thai Government’s decision to vaccinate 600,000 teachers nationwide before schools reopen. It is a critical and timely step, allowing them to teach in person, keep schools open and ensure learning continuity.

In most countries, people are forced to wait 15 minutes after vaccination to check that they do not get a severe allergic shock. The pictures were probably taken there. Where you get the idea that they sit for hours waiting is hard to understand.

Pure conjecture on your part I'm sorry to say, you obviously didn't see the complete clusterflop that saw hundreds of of unregistered people turn up at the indoor arena in Pattaya wanting their share of a very limited number of vaccines, crowding around officials social distancing and personal safety went straight out the window.

I was going to say something, but I would more than likely be suspended, so I will say, good luck to them and move on........

True and true - you will get suspended  when your  " against the grain or different  point of view " opinion is  not wanted.

Good luck to them and move on...

Unfortunately though getting vaccinated is a great thing to do and we ALL should be get our jabs...  Sinovax is not recognized as an approved Covid vaccine in the EU, the US, the UK, Australia, the US CDC or the WHO... or a lot of other places. So good luck there guys. But wonderful that you managed to get it for sure. Just be aware that international travel to many countries the fact that you have been vaccinated with Sinovax will not mean a thing.

Most likely a PR stunt to appease International Embassies.
What counts is the total of Expats who have been vaccinated.
Just a few days ago Richard Barrow tweeted he had been turned down for a Jab after successfully registering 3 weeks ago.
Also those Expats don't look to be over 60 how did they qualify?
We should have a counter on TV to count how many members have received the Jab and how many have been refused.

You can never believe what they say, all propaganda, reminds me of Trump.

exactly, the U.S. should ban entry to individuals who are not vaccinated  with an approved vaccine. Sinovac should be red flagged.

Germany is a 1st World country, fully developed, organized and efficient. Thailand is a 3rd World country, far less developed, disorganized and inefficient. 80m or 65 m is marginal and irrelevant.
